Each camp runs Monday through Thursday from 9:30-2:30 for K-6 campers with before and aftercare available. Each camp will have dedicated time for academics. Math, reading, and a Spanish option will include review through fun activities. Our goal is for campers to have fun while avoiding the summer slide. Each week no matter the theme, attendees will experience nature adventures like reading to a goat, feeding sheep, picking snacks from the garden, nature crafts, scavenger hunts, and much more!
Campers will be caring for animals, sowing seeds, and harvesting in the garden. This camp will be led by our fearless leader, Mrs. Blackman.
Young actors spend a week working as an ensemble to create an original play full of drama, comedy, and characters. Imaginations are set free during Summer Drama. This camp will be led by our fearless leader, Mrs. Blackman.
Art lessons for both the beginner and more advanced artists will be taught. Campers will have a chance to try different art mediums. They will create their own art inspired by Picasso, Kandinsky, and other great artists.
Students will focus on survival skills such as what plants can be eaten, how to clean water, and more. Life skills such as building and sewing on a button will be taught.
This week is being hosted by Grace Church. We will provide a free week of camp where campers will learn a Bible lesson and Bible verses. There will be fun games, crafts, and more.
Students will learn magic tricks and the skills to put on a magic show. This class will be taught by children's favorite, Wacky. Joshua Donegan started teaching Bible lessons through laughter at the age of ten. Through his clowning, he helps kids realize important truths like the fact that no matter who you are or what struggles you have in life, God can help you overcome all and to just be who He made you.
During before and after care campers will have time for free play.
Students have the option to come in for just one hour of math and reading review. Each week two days will be dedicated to math and two days to reading. Math and reading fundamentals will be reviewed using games, songs, and more. Students will have outside required reading.
