This class is intended for students aged 4-6 but has some flexibility in age range. We will be observing and studying God's creation through nature walks, looking at plants, learning about little critters and big ones, playing indoor and outdoor games, making arts and crafts. We will do all of this with a focus on using all five senses.
This will all be seasoned with a pinch of German. Children will learn several German words throughout the year. The plan is to be predominantly outside. Children will need to bring rubber boots and a rain jacket if it is raining.

Join us as we study the stars, sun, moon, and sky together. Students will look at the skies and all that is in and beyond them through a Biblical lens. The Heavens declare the glory of God and we want our students to know that as they dig deep into the depths of God's creation. We will not just read about these concepts, but work with great visuals and activities to fully engage our minds in this amazing science. With Bible and telescope in hand, we will learn how people throughout history have searched the skies and seen God's beautiful handiwork!

We want our students to be excited about Civics and understanding how our government works. We will be doing this through targeted government studies and more importantly through hands on activities with elections, governing, debates, press releases and much more! It is critical to equip our students to be active and engaged citizens and that is our goal in this class.
