Spanish Immersion Kindergarten
Students will learn to introduce themselves, express wants and needs. They will learn a variety of vocabularies such as colors, shapes, numbers, letters, feelings, commands, songs and stories. Learn to read and write. They will learn to express who they are, understand world around them by exploring the Spanish culture through videos and hands on activities. Bible verses and prayers will be included in this curriculum.
This class will be taught in a Spanish Immersion style. (no previous language experienced need it) $350+25(class fee)
The preschool course is an opportunity for preschool students to learn pre reading skills through All About Reading. Your student will enjoy the special games, crafts, and story time read-alouds, and you will love the way your student effortlessly learns essential pre-reading skills. Your student will learn five very important pre-reading skills: Print Awareness, Phonological Awareness, Letter Knowledge, Listening Comprehension, and Motivation to Read. These skills lay the foundation for learning to read. Students will also learn numbers, colors, shapes, and much more in an engaging and fun session. Through movement and various activities, they will also learn about nutrition, weather, following directions, opposites, and basic emotions. Most importantly, children will learn different Bible verses and Bible heroes that will help build a foundation for loving God's Word.
K5-1 Art, P.E and Music
This preschool course is an opportunity for preschool students to learn fine motor skills.
Phys Ed - will be a combination of stretching, running, and skill practice.
Art: Will be an introduction to visual art, opportunity to explore and experiment with a a wide variety of 2-3 dimensional materials as well as being introduced to a selection of artists.
Music: Includes singing, creative and structured movement, playing instruments, guided listening, as well as a developmentally sound approach to music literacy and builds concentration, memory and self expression.
