Grace Farms is a nonprofit community farm, a ministry of Grace Independent Baptist Church
Grace Farms is a community-supported farm where members pay an annual fee to participate in one or more squads based on their interests. Each squad shares the responsibilities for a particular area of the farm. Our operations are overseen by a Farm Board.
As a member, you’ll sign up for one day per week to fulfill the responsibilities of your chosen squad(s). You can participate in just one squad or multiple—it’s completely up to you! Current squad options are:
Fees help cover general farm maintenance, animal feed, hay, and gardening supplies.
On your scheduled day, your family will come to the farm and care for the daily responsibilities of your chosen squad(s). You’re welcome to visit the farm on other days as well, but please note: if you're on an animal squad, you’ll only feed those animals on your assigned day.
We do not currently have animals available for purchase, but once we do, owning/boarding an animal at Grace Farms is optional for members of Grace Farms. The boarding fee includes routine care such as food, water, hay, and herd-wide medications. Owners are responsible for any specialized care, vet visits, breeding expenses, or registration fees.
The most common question we receive is:
“How much time does it take?”
Our farm is structured to keep the workload light and shared. If you're out of town or unable to make it on your assigned day, you can coordinate with fellow squad members to swap or cover your responsibilities. We all work together to care for the farm!
If you're interested in joining, we ask that you complete a short interview with the farm board.
