Farm/Nature: (grades 1-3), taught by Candice Tudor: This is a multi-subject hands-on class. The focus will be science-driven, but this class also offers a modified PE option for students who need to move around. Learning more about the animals that we own, along with caring for the garden we grow as well are the main topics that will be taught. Some examples of what will be covered include: the anatomy of animals; why chickens lay eggs; why goats are good for milk; feeding animals; seeding the garden; caring for plants as they grow; best time of year for planting and harvesting; planning the season; measuring; and making thing from our farm and garden. This class will go outside to work with the animals every day, regardless of weather. So make sure to have your rain boats ready for a great class!

This class focuses on aquatic animals, whales, seals, fish, sharks, reptiles, Cephalopods, and many other creatures you didn't even know existed! This class will complete labs to develop the skills needed to conduct scientifically valid experiments in any field. The course will include videos, pictures, and specimens to help bring the Ocean to life in the classroom!
